Freddie grew up in Southern California and started playing golf when she was about 10 years old. When high school rolled around, she became the first female at her school to participate on the boy’s golf team, as there was no girls team at the time. Over the years, she has worked on a golf course maintenance crew, participated in the Golf Channel Amateur Tour, become USGA rules certified, officiated tournaments, prepared and run events, served on the board of the Pacific Women’s Golf Association, learned the USGA handicapping system and has been certified as an LPGA golf professional. In addition, she had coached both boys and girls high school golf. Her husband is now retired after working as a golf course superintendent for 38 years and they relocated to Bend in 2016. |

 | Lead Instructor & Director of Junior Programing nate.kitt@themoderngolfclub.com
Nate grew up in New City, New York and caught the golf bug early. The golf course soon became not only a babysitter but also a place to begin a career. It's hard to believe, but Nate (33) has spent 20 years working in golf! After graduating Clemson University (go Tigers!), Nate found himself in Denver, Colorado where he was elected to the PGA of America in 2012. A great opportunity as First Assistant at Tetherow moved Nate to Central Oregon in 2014 and after three seasons there and four seasons at Broken Top, a new career focusing on junior golf coaching emerged. He is very excited to be a part of the Bend Golf Club community where he hopes to share his love for learning and the game of golf. Nate lives in Redmond with his wife CJ, son Levon and two dogs Murphy and Tatanka. |
