MONTE HANSON, PGA - Head Golf Professional
monteh@bendgolfclub.com 541-322-5770 Monte grew up in Bozeman, Montana, where he was on his high school's state-championship golf team as well as a 1st Team All-State selection. He later spent eight years on the staff at River Island Country Club in Porterville, California, with the last four of those years as head golf pro. |
Drew Scrivner - Assistant Golf Professional
drews@bendgolfclub.com 541-322-5770 Drew recently moved to Bend from The Grand Golf Club in San Diego. His passion for golf started when he was four, playing in the cool summer mornings of Baker City, OR with his father and grandfather. Competitive golf took a back seat to education after high school, but was reignited when he moved to San Diego. He is looking to bring some Pacific Northwest PGA Section wins to Bend Golf Club in the future. |

TAM BRONKEY, PGA - Director of Player Development
Tam grew up in Klamath Falls, playing golf with his family at Reames Country Club. Tam was a top junior in Oregon, culminating in his selection to the prestigious Eddie Hogan Cup Team Matches at Riverside Country Club in Portland. Tam then went on to be a three-year varsity golfer at the University of Oregon, turning professional after college. As a pro, he played on the mini-tours, eventually Monday qualifying for the PGA Tour’s Genesis LA Open in 2001 at Riviera Country Club.
Tam’s career in the golf business began at Awbrey Glen in Bend as assistant golf pro and gaining his PGA membership in 1998. In 2005 Tam was named head pro at Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano, California, where he coached advanced junior players as well as beginners. In 2007 Tam returned to Oregon as director of instruction at Eagle Crest in Redmond until 2020, when he became BGC’s director of player development. In that position, he has been running Operation 36 classes and providing quality private golf lessons.
Tam’s teaching philosophy combines science and art as he teaches the timeless fundamentals of the game using advanced technology, while also allowing every student to be unique in their swing style and approach to the game.
