Chris has been with Bend Golf & Country Club since August of
2015. A Pacific Northwest native, Chris grew up in Eastern Washington and graduated from
the University of Idaho. He is a Class A member of the PGA of America and remains active within
the local PGA; he currently sits on the PNW Section Rules Committee, sits on the PNW Section
Mentoring Committee, chairs the Oregon Chapter Mentoring Committee, and sits on the Oregon
Chapter Education Committee. He loves to play, teach, and promote the game of golf.
Jeff Keller - General Manager

Jeff has been at the club since June of 2015. Jeff came to Central Oregon in 1994 from Portland.
Jeff has an extensive background in operations and he brings a membership focus to running the
club. The love of the game and the operational experience makes his position a perfect match.
Jeff has a Masters degree from the University of Portland and has served on prior golf boards.
He is married to Anita, has a son Casey and a grandson Christian.
Karen Goodman - CFO

Karen has a long history in the hospitality business. Her family had their own Country Inn in
Vermont. Karen moved to Bend in 1992 and after a stint at Broken Top, Karen has called Bend Golf
and Country Club home for the last 19 years. Karen is a certified Hospitality Account Executive.
Karen enjoys hunting with her dogs and quilting. Karen’s and her husband John have 4 kids and 11
grandchildren, and enjoy anything outdoors, which is the perfect fit for Bend.
Scott Moffenbeier- Golf Course Superintendent
Scott grew up in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University’s Turfgrass
Management Program in 1994. His career spans 6 golf courses throughout Oregon. He was the
Assistant Superintendent at Bend Golf & Country Club from 1999-2005. Scott is a Class A
Member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and was previously the
Superintendent at Broken Top Club for 10 years. Scott and his wife Cathi have 2 daughters, Macy
and Harper, that keep them busy with sports and many outdoor activities.
1st Assistant PGA Professional - Kyle Weeks

Kyle began his career at Bend Golf & Country Club in 2016. Native of Boise, ID, he
played collegiately at Treasure Valley CC, elected to PGA Class A membership in 2012. Joining
BGCC in February of 2016, he is very involved in running our club tournaments and currently sits
on the Oregon Chapter PGA Tournament Committee. Loves working with players looking to build a
game at the highest level as well as recreational golfers who are looking to improve.
Christie Henson- Membership Events Manager

Christie began seven years ago at Bend Golf and Country Club and knows how to make the
experience of our member events special. She works and trains all of our service staff to strive
for excellent service in all that we do. Christie enjoys spending time with her family away from
the club and enjoys being in Central Oregon and all that it provides.
Neil Ripsch- Membership Director

Neil arrived into the Bend area in 1992 following a 22 - year career in US Navy. He’s worked as a
Sales Professional in the Wireless and Construction industries for the last 23 years. He loves
helping people in all walks of life. Neil has been married for 44 years to his wife, Linda.
Linda is a personal Caregiver with her own business. Neil enjoys playing saxophone, golf, tennis
Margaret Collier- Activities Director

Margaret is the Activities Director at Bend Golf and Country Club oversees the fitness
facilities, pool, tennis courts, and organizing many of the social events offered here.
Margaret moved to Bend in 1979 from San Diego, California. She attended Pilot Butte Middle
School and graduated from Bend Senior High. She graduated from University of Oregon with a
degree in Fitness Management after attending COCC for two years and then spent 10 years at the
Inn of the 7th Mountain.
